Obscene
Just completed the score to the latest Double O Films documentary titled "Obscene". It's about Barney Rosset, the greatest American publisher of the twentieth century and the most influential cultural figure that you haven't heard of. Under Rosset, Grove Press and Evergreen Review fought and defeated censorship battles before the state and federal supreme courts as they introduced visionary authors such as Henry Miller, William Burroughs, Samuel Beckett and Milan Kundera to the American consciousness.

Frontline World: Requiem on PBS
Just scored a very poignant installment of Frontline World. It pays tribute to reporters from across the globe who have been killed, jailed, or exiled for daring to speak the truth to the powers-that-be. Last year, 2006, was one of the deadliest years on record for journalists, and most did not die in combat.
Scored & performed the music to "Return of the Taliban," a thought-provoking episode of the PBS award-winning documentary series "Frontline." ... PBS.org - VideoClip

Upcoming Performances: |
July 25 with the Wolfpack
Adobe Blues (63 Lafayette Avenue, Staten Island, NY)
This is the longest running blues/jazz jam on Staten Island, led by the venerable
Larry D'Albero (vocals/bass), with Tom Baker on drums. It's a great vibe all around--
and eveyone gets to play (there's none of that chummy "you can only play if you're
in the band's inner circle" attitude).
We play a full set at 9 PM; the jam starts around 10:15.
July 26 with Susan D.
Smith's Bar (701 Eighth Ave. at 44 St., NYC)
Susan is one of the most talented, soulful singers I have ever worked with. We'll be
performing classic r&b and soul tunes, as well as some of our groovy originals.
Joining us will be a truly kick-ass rhythm section: Frank Gravis on bass and
Robin Gould on drums. (3 sets, from 9 PM-1 AM.)
